13. Tower Console I3C/I2C Protocol Generator (4)
Based on continuous customer feedback, we have developed a unique, graphical I3C/I2C Protocol Generator. Its GUI allows for the easy insertion of spikes and the adjustment of duty cycles and various I3C/I2C timing parameters; it offers powerful functionality and far superior ease of use compared to DTG, enabling customers to conduct more professional and effective I3C/I2C protocol testing.
The Component Library area is used to select protocol mode and add protocol components. The tool supports two modes I3C and I2C:
1) I2C Mode

Notes:If select Enable SCL PP, Adapter drive SCL by Push-pull mode.
2) I3C Mode

The Protocol Component Combination area displays the protocol blocks and allows the user to arrange and edit the protocol sequence.
1) Adding Components
Click a component button in the Component Library to add the corresponding component to the track.

Such as clicking the Start button, then component add to the Protocol Component Combination as follow:

If no block is selected, the new block is added to the right side of the existing blocks. If one or more blocks are selected, the new block is inserted after the rightmost selected block, and the following blocks are shifted to the right.
2) Moving Components
Protocol blocks can be dragged horizontally. During dragging, the Y coordinate is fixed so that the block stays on the same track.
The tool also supports snapping. When a block is moved close to another block, it snaps to the adjacent edge.
3) Deleting Components

Select one or more components and press one of the following keyboard keys:
Delete
Or direct select the Delete button.
The selected components are removed from the track, and the console displays a deletion message.

4) Clearing the Track
Click the Clear button to clear the current track. If there are existing components, a confirmation dialog is displayed:

Delete all components in the track?

After confirmation, all protocol blocks are removed.

5) Jumping to Start or End
The navigation button in the upper-right corner of the combination area displays either End or Start:

When the button shows End, clicking it scrolls to the last component.
When the button shows Start, clicking it scrolls to the first component.
