Easyi3C is a leading supplier of embedded system tools that simplify the development and debugging of various communication protocols. The company offers a range of products designed to help engineers and developers use I3C/I2C , USB and MIPI, JEDEC, MCTP and other protocols more efficiently.

 Based on continuous customer feedback, we have integrated Notebook into Tower Console, which provides more powerful functions in the GUI to meet more complex customer needs. In the following chapters, we will introduce how to better get started with this new tool.

七. Tower Console NoteBook（1）

1. Background Introduction: Software field, interactive programming environments (Jupyter/Colab)

In the fields of data science, AI development, and research, a notebook refers to an interactive document that combines code, mathematical formulas, text descriptions, and visual charts .

• Core features:

• Code block execution: You can run code segment by segment instead of running the entire program at once. This is very helpful for debugging and experimentation.
  

• Rich media support: Display plots (such as line charts, scatter plots) or HTML tables directly below the code.

• Markdown support: Use simple syntax to write beautiful documentation and comments.

• Mainstream tools:

• Jupyter Notebook: An industry standard that supports multiple languages including Python, R, and Julia.

• Google Colab: A cloud-based notebook that offers free GPU resources, making it popular among deep learning developers.

• VS Code Notebook: Integrates Notebook functionality directly within the editor.

2. Core features: Interactive Computing

This is its most significant advantage. Traditional programs need to run from start to finish, while Jupyter allows you to run them in chunks .

• Instant feedback: You can run just one cell and see the results immediately.
  

• State retention: Variables that have been processed are stored in memory. For example, if you load a huge dataset in 10 minutes, you can then analyze it in a new cell without reloading the data .

• A debugging marvel: fix the error directly, and only run that line after modification, making it extremely efficient.
  

3.  Tower Cconsole NoteBook

Tower Console Notebook is a locally deployed Jupyter Notebook. Leveraging the powerful features of Notebooks, it provides users with a better experience. This includes improved program sharing, interactive output, and a rich library of third-party resources. We have integrated Jupyter Notebook into our Tower console, and customers can download version 2.3.3 and later for free from our website to try it out.
